The firm's investigative background includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Glenville University, more than 1,500 hours of law enforcement and investigative training, prior service with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in the Northern District of West Virginia, and training through the United States Secret Service National Computer Forensics Institute.
Investigative experience includes courtroom tested detective work, homicide and major felony investigations, narcotics investigations, digital evidence analysis, forensic cell phone investigations, witness interviews, surveillance review, courtroom preparation, military police service through the United States Army, and supervisory investigative work. The firm's lead investigator served as the lead investigator on five homicide investigations and assisted in over a dozen during his law enforcement career, including a double homicide case that resulted in the largest sentence in the history of the department involved.
Additional training includes digital video recorder review, active shooter response instruction, legal training, evidence room management, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations, firearms qualification, and continuing state and federal investigative training.
